1. Data protection at a glance

The following notes give a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator; contact details can be found in the section "Notice on the responsible party". Your data is collected on the one hand by you providing it to us (e.g. in the contact form). Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems – mainly technical data (e.g. browser, operating system or time of the page request).

2. Hosting, Cloudflare and server log files

Hosting: this website is operated on a server of our technical service provider. Processing takes place on the basis of a data-processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; the hoster processes the data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions.

Cloudflare: this website uses the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. All requests are routed through Cloudflare servers, which encrypt the connection, speed up delivery and protect the website against attacks; in doing so Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as your IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and fast delivery of the website). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU standard contractual clauses apply in addition. Details: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Server log files: when the website is accessed, our server records technical details of the request in log files (page requested, date and time, referring page, browser type, HTTP status code). The IP address is only stored in shortened form, so that no reference to a person can be established. The logs serve operational security and error analysis; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

3. General notes and mandatory information

SSL/TLS encryption: for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar of the browser changing from "http://" to "https://".

Responsible party: JuKoTech GmbH, Managing Director Julia Ploskov, Frankfurter Str. 72, 61239 Ober-Mörlen, e-mail info@jukotech.gmbh.

Right to lodge a complaint: in the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, workplace or the place of the alleged violation.

Right to information, deletion and correction: you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data as well as a right to correction or deletion of this data.

4. Data collection on this website

Contact form: if you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details including the contact data are transmitted to our server, e-mailed to info@jukotech.gmbh and stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry. Together with the enquiry we store the sender's IP address to protect against misuse. Enquiries are deleted as soon as processing is complete, at the latest after six months, unless statutory retention obligations apply. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

Enquiry by e-mail or telephone: if you contact us by e-mail or telephone, your data is stored for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

5. Web fonts (local hosting)

For a uniform presentation this website uses the FiraGO font, which is provided locally on our own server. No connection to servers of Google or other third parties takes place, so your IP address or other data is not passed on to external services.

6. Cookies and local storage

On your first visit a cookie banner asks for your choice: “Accept all”, “Only necessary” or “Reject”. You can change your decision at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page.

Technically necessary cookies are set without consent (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR): juko_consent stores your cookie choice (12 months; after “Reject” only until the end of the browser session, so that we ask again on your next visit), juko_lang stores your language choice (12 months; the same setting is also kept in your browser's local storage) and jp_sess keeps you logged in to the client portal (until logout, at most 8 hours; only if you log in). To protect against automated attacks, Cloudflare may additionally set a technically necessary security cookie (__cf_bm, 30 minutes). In the client portal your browser also keeps a technical note in its session storage (jp_live) whether you are logged in, so that the page shows the right view; it is deleted when the tab is closed.

Optional cookies for statistics or marketing are currently not used. Should we introduce such services, they will only be activated after your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.

7. Client portal

Customers whose access has been set up by JuKo Tech can log in to the client portal. For this we process the login name, the name, the company name, the preferred language, the e-mail address (if provided: for resetting the password and for notifications about tickets and documents) and the time of the last login. The password is stored only as a hash – never in plain text. To protect against misuse, failed login attempts are counted for 24 hours – stored only as non-reversible hashes of the IP address and login name, never in plain text. The legal bases are Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (security of the system).

Service tickets and documents: if you create service tickets, write messages or upload documents in the client portal, we store their content, the attached files and the time stamps on our server in order to process your request (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR). Files are kept outside the publicly accessible website and can only be downloaded by you and by JuKo Tech. If an e-mail address is stored, we notify you about answers, status and appointment changes and new documents; new tickets, messages and uploads are also e-mailed to JuKo Tech for processing. Tickets and documents are stored for as long as your client access exists and are then deleted, unless statutory retention periods require longer storage.
